Nanputuo Temple is located at the foot of Wulao Mountain in Xiamen and is one of the most important Buddhist temples in southern Fujian. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it is dedicated to Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy). The temple complex features grand halls, pagodas, and a vegetarian restaurant famous for its mooncakes.
