Introduction

Badaguan (Eight Passes) is a scenic area in Qingdao famous for its tree-lined streets, each named after a famous military pass in Chinese history and planted with a different tree species. The area features over 200 villas in diverse architectural styles — German, British, French, Russian, Japanese, and Danish — built during the early 20th century. In spring, cherry blossoms line the streets; in autumn, ginkgo leaves turn golden. It is a favorite spot for wedding photography.
