Introduction

Xingping Ancient Town is located on the east bank of the Li River, about 25 km from Yangshuo. With a history of over 1,700 years, it is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in the Guilin area. The town features flagstone streets, Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, and a peaceful riverside setting. The view from Laozhai Hill at sunset, overlooking the Li River bend with karst peaks, is one of the most iconic images of Guilin.
