Introduction

Erhai Lake is located in the Dali area of Yunnan Province and is the second-largest freshwater lake in Yunnan. The lake stretches approximately 42.58 km north to south, with a maximum width of 9 km and a surface area of 256.5 sq km. It is one of Dali's 'Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon' four scenic elements. Cycling around the lake is a popular activity, with stops at fishing villages, temples, and the iconic Sea Tongue Park. The lake reflects the Cangshan Mountains and changing skies in ever-shifting beauty.
