Introduction

Hongya Cave is located on the banks of the Jialing River in Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is a National 4A Tourist Attraction, famous for its distinctive Bayu-style stilt house (diaojiaolou) architecture built into the cliffside. The 11-story complex combines sightseeing, dining, and shopping. At night, the illuminated stilt houses create a golden spectacle reminiscent of the bathhouse in the animated film Spirited Away. The view of the Jialing River and the Qiansimen Bridge is breathtaking.
