Introduction

Ciqikou Ancient Town is located on the banks of the Jialing River in Chongqing, with a history of over 1,000 years. Originally a porcelain (ciqi) production and trading center, the town preserves its Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture with flagstone streets, traditional teahouses, and craft workshops. It is famous for its local snacks, including maoxuewang (duck blood curd), chenmahu (sesame crisp), and hand-pulled candy. The town is especially atmospheric in the evening.
