Introduction

Longjing Tea Plantation is located in the Longjing Village area southwest of West Lake. It is the original production area of West Lake Longjing (Dragon Well) tea, China's most famous green tea, with a history of over 1,200 years. The tea is celebrated for its four qualities: emerald color, rich fragrance, sweet taste, and elegant shape. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty personally designated 18 imperial tea trees here. During the spring harvest, visitors can stroll through terraced tea fields, watch tea-frying demonstrations, and taste authentic Longjing tea.
