Introduction

Beihai Park is one of China's oldest and best-preserved imperial gardens, located in central Beijing. First built in the Liao Dynasty over 1,000 years ago, it was a royal pleasure ground for the Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The park is centered on Beihai Lake, with the iconic White Dagoba on Qionghua Island as its landmark. Visitors can stroll along covered corridors, view the Nine-Dragon Screen, and rent a boat to explore the lake.
