Introduction

Xi'an City Wall is located in the center of Xi'an and is the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China, a National 5A Tourist Attraction. Built in the 3rd year of the Hongwu reign (1370) of the Ming Dynasty, the wall has a circumference of 13.74 km, stands 12 m tall, and is 18 m wide at the base and 15 m wide at the top. Visitors can cycle around the entire wall (about 1.5–2 hours), enjoying views of the old city inside and the modern city outside.
